ARESOLUTION {}FINDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING <br />THE TAX M|LLAGE RATE TO BE LEVIED UPON ALL REAL AND <br />PERSONAL TAXABLE PROPERTY IN INDIAN RIVER CC)UNTY, <br />FLORIDA, FOR FISCAL YEAR 2017-2018 FOR THE INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT. <br />VVHEREAS, the Budget {}ffioar of Indian River County prepared and presented to the <br />County Commission a hsntmUva budget for the Emergency Services District of Indian River County, <br />Florida, for the fiscal year commencing on the first day of October, 2017, and ending on the 30th <br />day of September, 2018. addressing each of the funds therein as provided by |aw, including all <br />estimated remsiote, taxes to be |evied, and balances expected to be brought fonwend, and all <br />estimated expenditures, reserves, and balances tobecarried over otthe end ofthe year; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County held numerous <br />public workshops tuconsider and amend the tentative budget aapresented; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board did prepare 8 statement summarizing all of the tentative budgets <br />showing for each budget and for the total of all bud0eto, proposed tax mn|\|agea, the balances and <br />reoen/en, and the total of each major c|oeeifioodon of the receipts and expenditures classified <br />according 0Jaccounts prescribed bvthe appropriate state agencies; and <br />VVHEREA8, the proposed rni||oge rate for the Emergency Services District is above the <br />rolled back rate of217�2bvO.S96'. and <br />. -^ <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County did hold a public <br />hearing toreview and adopt atentative budget; and <br />VVHER|EA8, the final budget hearing has been properly advertised and held in accordance <br />with applicable Florida |avv. <br />N{}VV.
