FIRST AMENDMENT TO OCTOBER 1, 2016 COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT <br /> THIS FIRST AMENDMENT by and between INDIAN RIVER COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES <br /> DISTRICT, hereinafter referred to as the "County", and the INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br /> FIREFIGHTERS/PARAMEDICS ASSOCIATION, LOCAL 2201, IAFF, hereinafter referred to as the "Union". <br /> WHEREAS, effective May 16, 2017, the parties entered into a Collective Bargaining Agreement, <br /> hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement", for the period October 1, 2016 through and including <br /> September 30, 2019; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Article 34, Salaries, provides for bargaining unit employees to receive general wage <br /> increases, step increases, and lump sum payments, if any, mutually agreed to by the County and the <br /> Union. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises contained herein, the parties agree <br /> to amend the Agreement as follows: <br /> 1. Article 34, Salaries, shall be amended as set forth in Exhibit "A". <br /> 2.
