A TRUE COPY <br />CERTIFICATION ON LAST PAGE <br />J.R. SMITH, CLERK <br />shall be used to develop land management plans to preserve and <br />appropriately manage the natural communities that occur on the <br />Project Site to ensure the long-term viability of these communities. <br />Periodic surveys shall be conducted of the Project Site to assess and <br />guide management. The timing and extent of the surveys shall be <br />identified in the Management Plan. <br />i. The Project Site shall be managed in a manner that protects and <br />enhances the listed and non -listed native wildlife species and their <br />habitat. <br />j. The Project Site shall be managed in a manner that protects and <br />enhances the listed and non -listed native wildlife species and their <br />habitat, including the Locally Significant and Strategic Habitat <br />Conservation areas found onsite. <br />k. A prescribed burn plan including fire lines, shall be developed in <br />coordination with the Florida Forest Service and/or the Florida Fish <br />and Wildlife Conservation Commission to maintain natural fire - <br />dependent vegetative communities found onsite. Fire lines shall be <br />developed between the adjacent development and the Project Site. <br />1. An ongoing monitoring and control program for invasive vegetation <br />including exotic (non-native) and nuisance native plant species shall be <br />implemented at the Project Site. The objective of the control program <br />shall be the elimination of invasive exotic plant species and the <br />maintenance of a diverse association of native vegetation. The <br />Management Plan shall reference the Exotic Pest Plant Council's List <br />of Florida's Most Invasive Species to assist in identifying invasive <br />exotics on the Project Site. <br />In. A feral animal removal program shall be developed and implemented <br />for the Project Site. <br />n. The quality of surface waters shall be improved by the installation of <br />stormwater facilities on the Project Site that provide wildlife habitat <br />and/or open space in a park -like setting with shallow slopes and no <br />fencing. Stormwater management improvements shall be coordinated <br />with the St. Johns River Water Management District and FCT. <br />o. The Project Site shall be connected to and managed as part of a local, <br />regional or statewide land-based recreational trail system. <br />P.
