PSC -2017 -0336 -PAA -EQ <br />DOCKET NO. 20170072 -EQ <br />PAGE 104 <br />Attachment A <br />( DUKE <br />ENERGY. <br />No. 970$ <br />SECTION No. IX <br />SECOND-THIRD REVISED SHEET No. 9.708$ <br />CANCELS FIRST—SECOND REVISED SHEET <br />5. 5. failure of the QF to comply with any existing or future regulations, rules, <br />orders or decisions of any governmental or regulatory authority having <br />jurisdiction over the Facility's electric generating equipment or the operation of <br />such equipment. <br />7.8. 7. The Facility's electric generation equipment shall not be operated in parallel with <br />the Company's system when auxiliary power is being provided from a source other than <br />the Facility's electric generation equipment. <br />7.9. 7.9 Neither Party shall operate switching devices owned by the other Party, except <br />that the Company may open the manual disconnect switch number(s) owned <br />by the QF pursuant to seetie:rSection 7.7 hereof. <br />7.10.7.10 Should one Party desire to change the operating position of a switching device <br />owned by the other Party, the following procedures shall be followed: <br />f it (i)—The Party requesting the switching change shall orally agree with an <br />authorized representative of the other Party regarding which switch or switches <br />are to be operated, the requested position of each switching device, and when <br />each switch is to be operated. <br />iii) (ii)—The Party performing the requested switching shall notify the requesting <br />Party when the requested switching change has been completed. <br />(iii) (iii)—Neither Party shall rely solely on the other party's switching device to <br />provide electrical isolation necessary for personnel safety. Each Party will <br />perform work on its side of the Point of Ownership as if its facilities are energized <br />or test for voltage and install grounds prior to beginning work. <br />(iv) (-iv)—Each Party shall be responsible for returning its facilities to approved <br />operating conditions, including removal of grounds, prior to the Company <br />authorizing the restoration of parallel operation. <br />ISSUED BY: Javier Poituondo, Director, Rates & Regulatory Strategy - Ft. <br />EFFECTIVE October -432016 <br />
