RIDGE ON HIS RETIREMENT FROM <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY SERVICES/FIRE RESCUE <br />WHEREAS, Richard E. Ridge retired from Indian River County Fire Rescue effective <br />August 31, 2017, and <br />WHEREAS, Richard E. Ridge began his career on September 25, 1991, as a <br />Firefighter with EMT certification. By August 2000, he had achieved Driver/Engineer <br />Status with certifications in Dive Rescue, Hazardous Materials and Company Officer <br />Leadership. Richard E. Ridge was promoted to Lieutenant on May 25, 2012, and <br />continued serving in that capacity until his retirement, and, <br />WHEREAS, Richard E. Ridge has served this County and the Public with distinction <br />and sefessness. During his twenty-five years of service, his devotion to his profession, <br />his employer, the citizens of Indian River County and his co-workers alike, was always <br />evident, and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board <br />applauds Richard E. Ridge's efforts on behalf of the County, and the Board wishes to <br />express their deepest gratitude for the dedicated service he has given to Indian River <br />Countyfor the last twenty-five years, and <br />BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED that the Board of County Commissioners and stuff <br />extend their sincerest wishes for success in his future endeavors. <br />Adopted this 15th day ofAugust 2017. <br />�VCn, BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />INDIANRIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />, <br />FLORA ' Jo ph E.
