SECTION 00100 - Advertisement for Bids <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />1801 2r Street <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32960 <br />Telephone: (772) 567-8000 FAX: (772) 770-5140 <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />Sealed bids will be received by Indian River County until 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August <br />16, 2017. Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall bear the name and <br />address of the bidder on the outside and the words "271 Avenue at 21St Street SW <br />Intersection/Signalization Improvements and Bid No.2017063".. Bids should be addressed <br />to Purchasing Division, 1800 27th Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32960. All bids will be opened <br />publicly and read aloud at 2:00 P.M. All bids received after 2:00 P.M., on the day specified <br />above, will not be opened or considered. <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT NO. IRC -1643 <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BID NO. 2017063 <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project will consist of intersection and signalization <br />improvements at 271' Avenue and 21St Street SW. The proposed improvements consist <br />of the installation of mast arm traffic signals, milling and resurfacing at the intersection, <br />pedestrian crosswalks and curb ramps, including sidewalk ramps and landings, <br />associated signage and pavement markings. <br />All material and equipment furnished and all work performed shall be in strict accordance <br />with the, plans, specifications, and contract documents pertaining thereto. Copies of the <br />documents are available at: www.demandstar.com or by contacting the Purchasing Division at <br />(772) 226-1416 or purchasing(cD-ircgov.com. All other communications concerning this bid shall <br />be directed to IRC Purchasing Division at purchasing(aD_ircgov.com. <br />All bidders shall submit one (1) original and one (1) copy of the Bid Proposal forms provided <br />within the specifications. Please note that the questionnaire must be filled out completely <br />including the financial statement. BID SECURITY must accompany each Bid, and must be in <br />the form of an AIA Document A310 Bid Bond, properly executed by the Bidder and by a <br />qualified surety, or a certified check or a cashier's check, drawn on any bank authorized to do <br />business in the State of Florida.
