RESOLUTION 2017- 119 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY <br /> ADMINISTRATOR OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE A MAINTENANCE <br /> MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MMOA) WITH THE FLORIDA <br /> DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (FDOT) FOR GOLINE BUS <br /> SHELTERS ALONG STATE ROAD 60 AND STATE ROAD 5/US <br /> HIGHWAY 1,AND AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR OR <br /> HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE FUTURE FDOT MMOA'S FOR GOLINE <br /> BUS SHELTERS LOCATED ALONG STATE HIGHWAYS WITHIN <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br /> WHEREAS, Indian River County("County") and the Florida Department of Transportation <br /> ("FDOT")desire to execute a Maintenance Memorandum of Agreement to maintain bus shelters along <br /> State Road 60 and State Road 5/US Highway 1 ; and <br /> WHEREAS, FDOT requires that the County pass a Resolution authorizing execution of the <br /> agreement. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br /> River County, as follows: <br /> Section 1. The County Administrator or his Designee is hereby authorized to execute a <br /> Maintenance Memorandum of Agreement for GoLine Bus Shelters along State Road 60 and State Road <br /> 5/US Highway 1, and future FDOT Transportation Facility MMOA's for GoLine Bus Shelters located <br /> along State Highways within Indian River County for a 5-year period following execution of this <br /> Resolution. <br /> Section 2. The County Attorney shall review and approve as to form and legal sufficiency <br /> all documents prior to their execution by the proper County officials. <br /> Section 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon final passage. <br /> The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner Fl escher who moved <br /> its adoption. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Adams ,and upon being put <br /> to a vote,the vote was as follows: <br /> Chairman Peter D. O'Bryan AYE <br /> Vice Chairman Bob Solari AYE <br /> Commissioner Susan Adams AYE <br /> Commissioner Joseph E. Flescher AYE <br /> Commissioner Tim Zorc AYE <br /> The Chairman thereupon declared the resolution duly passed and adopted this 5th day <br /> of December , 2017. <br />
