SJRWMD FY 2017-2018 Final Budget <br />State Revenues ($39.12 million) <br />State funding in the Final Budget totals $39.12 million, which is a $10.11 million, <br />or 20.5 percent decrease, compared to the FY 2016-17 amended budget. State <br />revenues will primarily come from: <br />Florida Department of Transportation <br />The District anticipates using $874,764 from the FDOT to fund the District's <br />FDOT Mitigation Program ($178,764) and Wheeler Grove Stormwater Park <br />($32,500) under activity 2.3, and FDOT Mitigation Enhancement Projects <br />($643,500) under activity 3.1. <br />State General Revenues <br />The District anticipates using $5.25 million from State General Revenues to <br />fund the Black Creek WRD project ($5 million) under subactivity 2.2.1 and the <br />Lake Apopka submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV) Restoration project <br />($250,000) under activity 2.3. <br />Ecosystem Management Trust Fund <br />The District plans to use $10,013 from this funding source for the Ecological <br />Assessments project under activity 2.3. <br />Other State Revenues <br />Total projected funding under this category totals $32.98 million, including: <br />• DEP ($27.68 million) — the majority of DEP funding will be used for <br />cooperative funding projects under activity 2.3, including $10 million for <br />the Springs Cost -Share Program, $5.5 million for the Eau Gallie River <br />Environmental Muck Dredging, $250,000 for Lake Apopka SAV <br />Restoration, $500,000 for Lake Apopka Targeted Lake Restoration <br />Dredging, $750,000 for Apopka Flow -Way —10 Pac Rehab, $125,000 for <br />Johns Lake and other Lake Apopka Tributary Improvements, $150,000 for <br />Lake Apopka Marsh Flow -Way Improvements, $492,290 for City of <br />Longwood Island Lake Septic Tank Abatement, $643,750 for City of Ocala <br />Septic Tank and Well Elimination Project, $41,250 for Marion County CP <br />#77 Silver Springs Shores Unit 7 Stormwater, $225,000 for Silver Springs <br />Forest Conservation Area, $1.17 million for City of Deltona WVWS Project <br />4A Deltona Storage and Treatment, $3.6 million for Newton Park Dredging <br />Project, and $590,000 for Targeted Water Quality Enhancements. DEP <br />funding will also be used for several Water Resoure Development projects <br />under subactivity 2.2.1, including $759,750 for City of Apopka Water <br />Reclamation Facility Nutrient Removal, $203,000 for City of Deland <br />Reclaimed Water Retrofit Project -Phase 1, $304,689 for City of Deland <br />Reclaimed Water Retrofit Project -Phase 2B, and $2.2 million for Non - <br />Project Specific — Includes Springs and Water Conservation.
