The previous bid was <br />awarded to Utility Service Company, Inc. The term of the award is ten years, with periodic <br />maintenance established for the full contract period. <br />RFP RESULTS: <br />Advertising Date: July 29,2D1 <br />RFP Opening Date: August 25, 2017 <br />QenmandS1arBroadcast to: 579 Subscribers <br />RFP Documents Requested by: 21 Firms <br />Replies: 3 Firms <br />A selection committee comprised of John Boyer, P'E, Environmental Engineer, Terry SoutharL <br />Utility Operations Manager, Mike Wyatt, Chief Operator, North County RO Plant, Michael Vernon, <br />Chief Operator, South County R0 Plant and Duke Hawkins, Utility Inspector independently <br />evaluated and scored the received proposals inaccordance with the County Purchasing Manual. <br />These scores were compiled bythe committee and anoverall ranking ofthe submittals developed. <br />After the initial ranking was developed, the committee determined additional information was <br />required to select the most qualified firm, and the top two ranked firms were invited to participate <br />in telephone interviews. <br />P133 <br />
