Board of County Commissioners <br />Meeting Minutes - Final November 7, 2017 <br />A motion was made by Vice Chairman O'Bryan, seconded by Chairman Flescher, to <br />approve the Annual Fiscal Report for the Tax Collector's Office for the Fiscal Year <br />Ended September 30, 2017. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />Aye: 5 - Chairman Flescher, Vice Chairman O'Bryan, Commissioner Adams, Commissioner <br />Solari, and Commissioner Zorc <br />10. PUBLIC ITEMS <br />A. PUBLIC NOTICE ITEMS <br />10.C.1. 17-1126 <br />Public Notice of Public Hearing Scheduled for November 14, 2017 to <br />Consider Amending Section 201.07 of Part I of Chapter 201 of the Code <br />of Indian River County with regard to Equivalent Residential Units <br />(Legislative) <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />County Attorney Dylan Reingold read the Notice into the record. <br />No Action Taken or Required <br />11. COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR MATTERS <br />11.A. 17-1131 Sebastian Lionfish Fest <br />Recommended Action: Approve Indian River County's continued support of the Sebastian Lionfish Fest as <br />it transitions to Coastal Connections Inc. <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />County Administrator Jason Brown provided background on the Sebastian Lionfish <br />Fest, and spoke :of the success that the event has become in the last several years. <br />He explained that the Sebastian River Area Chamber of Commerce was acting as <br />the fiscal agent for the event and wished to make the event a non-profit, 501(c) 3 <br />organization. Administrator Brown requested consideration to allow Coastal <br />Connections, Inc. to continue with the organization of the event with the County's <br />support. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Adams, seconded by Vice Chairman O'Bryan, <br />to approve staff's recommendation.
