In the event of stoppage or failure of a meter to register the utilitv shall bill the Custome <br />on an estimate of the gas used fora period not to exceed 12 months based on the Customer's <br />past consumption. <br />In the case of unauthorized or fraudulent use or meter tampering the utility shall bill the <br />Customer on an estimate of the gas used based on the Customer's past consumption or gas <br />equipment at premised whichever is greater. <br />The Company will select the type and make of metering equipment and may, from time <br />to time, change or alter such equipment. It shall be the obligation of the Company to supply <br />meters that will accurately and adequately furnish records for billing purposes Bills will be <br />based upon registration of Company meters only. <br />With the exception of the following, the gas supplied to any Customer, under any of the <br />Company's Rate Schedules, shall not be re -metered or sub -metered for sale either directly or <br />indirectly. Under no conditions will service be rendered under any agreement whereby the <br />Customer or their tenants resell the gas either within or without their premises, nor under conditions <br />by which gas is transmitted outside the premises under contract. <br />A. Residential Meter Reading <br />All Residential Customers shall be included in one of the Company's regularly <br />scheduled meter reading cycles with each cycle being read every ^+heF menth <br />month <br />through automated meter reading (AMR) devices.
