Ennis, P.E., PMP, County Engineer SUBJECT: Amendment No. 1 to Work Order No. 2A with Masteller & Moler, Inc. IRC Courthouse Judges Security Upgrades DATE: November 27, 2017 DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS On November 15, 2011, the Board of County Commissioners approved the Continuing Contract for Professional Services with Masteller & Moler, Inc. and on November 4, 2014, approved an Extension and Amendment of the Continuing Contract. On May 3, 2017 Work Order No. 2 (now referred to as 2A) was approved by the Board of County Commissioners in the amount of $26,432.50. The purpose of this Amendment to Work Order No. 2A is to provide revisions to construction plans for depiction of an alternate conduit system for the pedestrian gate system for the Indian River County.ludges Security Upgrades. Amendment No.1 to Work Order No. 2 is for a total lump sum amount of $965.00, bringing the total for Work Order No. 2A to $27,397.50. FUNDING Funding is budgeted in the Court Facilities Management Fund/CourthouseJudges Security, Account No. 31522019-066510-16033 Optional SalesTax/Facilities Maint/Courthouse Judges Security in the amountof $965.00. RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends approval of Amendment No. 1 to Work Order No. 2A to Masteller & Moler, Inc. authorizing the above-mentioned professional services as outlined in the attached Scope of Services (Exhibit A) and requests the Board to authorize the Chairman to execute Amendment No. 1 to Work Order No. 2A on their behalf for a total lump sum amount of $965.00.
