DeBraal, Deputy County Attorney <br />DATE: December 7, 2017 <br />ATTORNEY <br />SUBJECT: Assumption and Joinder to Agreement for Food Concession Services <br />and Lease at Sandridge Golf Club <br />On March 10, 2015, the Board approved an Agreement for Food Concession Services and <br />Lease (Agreement) between the County and Di'Michelli's Catering, Inc., (Di'Michelli's) for <br />operation of the 1,705 square foot food service facility within the Sandridge Golf Club <br />clubhouse. The Agreement is in full force and effect and will expire on April 1, 2020, but may <br />be renewed for five additional one year periods. Staff is satisfied with Di'Michelli's <br />performance under the Agreement. <br />The owner and President of Di'Michelli's, Juliann Petticrew, is also the owner and President of <br />Bottom's Up Beverage of Florida, LLC, (Bottom's Up). In order to provide easier banking and <br />financial operations for Ms. Petticrew, she has asked to have Bottom's Up assume and join in <br />the Agreement as a fully responsible co -tenant. Bottom's Up would be added. as a party to the <br />Agreement, joining in on all benefits and liabilities of the Agreement. Future payments under <br />the Agreement will be made to and received from Bottom's Up. No other changes are <br />contemplated to the Agreement. Staff has no objection to Bottom's Up assuming and joining <br />in on the Agreement. <br />FUNDING: 'This matter has no impact to County funds. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the Board approve the Assumption and <br />Joinder to Agreement for Food Concession Services and Lease at Sandridge Golf Club and <br />authorize the Chairman to execute the attached Assumption and Joinder to Agreement on <br />behalf of the Board. <br />Attachments: Assumption and Joinder to Agreement for Food Concession Services and Lease <br />Copies to: Michael Zito, Assistant County Administrator <br />Bela Nagy, Director of Golf <br />Juliann Petticrew <br />P52 <br />
