Brown, County Administrator <br />Mike Smykowski, Director, Office of Management and Budget <br />FROM: Jennifer Hyde, Purchasing Manager <br />SUBJECT: Recommended Selection of Consultant for RFQ 2018006 — Engineering and <br />Biological Support Services for Sector 3 Beach (Wabasso Beach) and Dune <br />Renourishment Project <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The existing professional coastal engineering consultant contracts will expire on December 31, <br />2017 and have no renewals available. On behalf of the Public Works Department and in <br />accordance with FS 287.055, Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) were solicited for professional <br />coastal engineering and biological support services related to the management and renourishment <br />of the Sector 3 project area.
