Brown <br />Director, Office of Ma age a ent & Budget <br />SUBJECT: 2015/2016 BUDGET 1 RKSHOP / HEARING SCHEDULE <br />Description <br />Presented below are selected dates for the 2015/2016 budget workshop and the tentative and <br />final budget hearings. <br />Budget Workshops: <br />Budget Packet distributed to the Board of Commissioners Friday, July 10, 2015 <br />Scheduled Budget Workshop <br />Budget Hearings: <br />Public Hearing on Tentative budget and proposed <br />millage rates <br />Wednesday, July 15, 2015 <br />Thursday, July 16, 2015 (as <br />needed) <br />Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015 <br />at 5:01 p.m. <br />Final Budget Hearing to adopt budget and millage rates Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015 at <br />5:01 p.m. <br />Note: The tentative and final budget hearing dates are preliminary in nature. Once the Indian <br />River County School District sets the dates for their budget hearings, we may need to change <br />these dates to ensure they do not conflict. <br />Recommendation <br />Staff recommends that the Board of Commissioners approve the budget workshop dates and the <br />dates for the budget hearings for the 2015/2016 budgets. <br />APPROVED AGENDA ITEM: <br />BY: <br />/i <br />A.
