Baird, County Administrator <br />Jason Brown, Director, Office of Management and Budget <br />Jennifer Hyde, Purchasing Manager - <br />Declaration of Excess Equipment as Surplus for Sale or Disposal <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The equipment on the attached list has been determined excess to the needs of Indian River <br />County and requires disposal in accordance with Florida Statutes. <br />Staff plans to participate in the February 28, 2015 auction hosted by the Sheriff's Department at <br />their facility. The funds received from the sale of these items will be returned to the <br />appropriate accounts. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends the Board declare the items on the attached Excess Equipment List as <br />surplus and authorize their sale and/or disposal.
