Brown, County Administrator <br />Michael Smykowski, Director, Office of Management and Budget <br />FROM: Jennifer Hyde, Purchasing Manager <br />SUBJECT: Declaration of Excess Equipment as Surplus for Sale, Trade -In or Disposal <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The equipment on the attached list has been determined excess to the needs of Indian River <br />County and requires disposal in accordance with Florida Statutes and Finance Policies. <br />The first item listed, Iteris Video Detection Mother Board Processor is eligible for a trade-in <br />credit of $710 toward a new camera system. Traffic Engineering Staff is requesting the Board's <br />authorization to trade this item. <br />As authorized by the Board, the items will either be sold by online auction or at a future live <br />auction. The funds received from the sale of these items will be returned to the appropriate <br />accounts. <br />FUNDING: <br />There is no cost to the County associated with this request. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends the Board declare the items on the Excess Equipment List for 121917 Agenda <br />as surplus or Trade -In as indicated, and authorize their sale and/or disposal. <br />ATTACHMENT: <br />Excess Equipment List for 121917 Agenda <br />128 <br />
