Since I will be a <br />candidate in the 2018 General Election, per Florida Statute 102.141(c), the Board of <br />County Commissioners shall appoint as a substitute member, one of its members who <br />is not a candidate with opposition in the election being canvassed and who is not an <br />active participant in the campaign or candidacy of any candidate with opposition in the <br />election being canvassed. <br />Based upon the above, I am recommending that the Board vote to approve <br />Commissioner Susan Adams as the County Commission representative for the <br />canvassing board for the 2018 General Election cycle. <br />Back up included. <br />146 <br />
