PROCLAMATIONS and PRESENTATIONS <br /> 5.A. 17-1168 Presentation by Indian River County Tax Collector, Carole Jean Jordan, on <br /> Summary of Current Operations <br /> Recommended Action: No Action Required <br /> Attachments: Tax Collector's Memorandum <br /> Tax Collector Carole Jean Jordan began her presentation by thanking her staff, <br /> along with Robbie Brackett, for a job well done during the recent renovation of the <br /> West office on 82nd Avenue. She gave an overview of the various office services, <br /> changes and challenges, including her excitement for the new Sebastian location, <br /> and the tentative approval for Transportation Security Administration(TSA) <br /> prechecks that will soon take place at the West office location. <br /> Ms. Jordan was proud to relay that, with this year's Budget funds return of <br /> $2,732,505, the Tax Collector's office has given back just over$25,000,000 since <br /> she took office in 2008. <br /> r.. <br /> Indian River County Florida Page 1 <br />
