PROCLAMATIONS and PRESENTATIONS <br />5.A. 17-1168 Presentation by Indian River County Tax Collector, Carole Jean Jordan, on <br />Summary of Current Operations <br />Recommended Action: No Action Required <br />Attachments: Tax Collector's Memorandum <br />Indian River County Florida <br />Tax Collector Carole Jean Jordan began her presentation by thanking her staff, <br />along with Robbie Brackett, for a job well done during the recent renovation of the <br />West office on 82nd Avenue. She gave an overview of the various office services, <br />changes and challenges, including her excitement for the new Sebastian location, <br />and the tentative approval for Transportation Security Administration (TSA) <br />prechecks that will soon take place at the West office location. <br />Ms. Jordan was proud to relay that, with this year's Budget funds return of <br />$2,732,505, the Tax Collector's office has given back just over $25,000,000 since <br />she took office in 2008. <br />Page 1 <br />
