Board of County Commissioners Meeting Minutes-Final November 14,2017 <br /> Attachments: Staff Report <br /> Draft Ordinance <br /> Proof of Publication <br /> County Attorney Dylan Reingold gave a brief explanation of Equivalent <br /> Residential Units (ERUs) and specified the reason for the proposed ordinance <br /> change. <br /> The Chairman opened the Public Hearing. <br /> Bob Johnson, Coral Wind Subdivision, sought and received clarification from <br /> Attorney Reingold and members of the Board regarding the difference between <br /> ERUs for single-family homes versus villas. <br /> There being no other speakers, the Chairman closed the Public Hearing. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Solari, seconded by Vice Chairman <br /> O'Bryan,to adopt Ordinance 2017-014, amending Section 201.07 (Equivalent <br /> Residential Units) of Part I (In General)of Chapter 201 (County Water and Sewer <br /> Services)of the Code of Indian River County, Florida in order to allow <br /> single-family residential customers with more than one ERU under certain <br /> N,,. circumstances to reduce the allocation to one ERU; and providing for <br /> codification, severability, repeal of conflicting provisions, and an effective date. <br /> The motion carried by the following vote: <br /> Aye: 5- Chairman Flescher, Vice Chairman O'Bryan, Commissioner Adams, <br /> Commissioner Solari, and Commissioner Zorc <br /> B.
