Zito, Assistant County Administrator <br />Subject: Approval of Amendment 2 with Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation <br />Commission (FWC) Contract No. 00252 for Supply and Use of Ten Golf Carts <br />DESCRIPTIONS AND CONDITIONS: <br />On March 13, 2001, the Indian River County entered into the Original Contract with Florida Fish <br />and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for the operation of the Indian River County Public <br />Shooting Range. <br />Amendment No. 1 approved on February 2, 2016, renewed the Original Contract for period of ten <br />(10) years. <br />Due to expansion of the Indian River County Public Shooting Range, transportation is necessary to <br />traverse the natural habitat within the sporting clays course. The shooting range experience is <br />greatly enhanced with the use of golf carts modified to carry patrons, staff and equipment to <br />various places around the Range. <br />Funds received by FWC through a grant from U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service were used to purchase <br />the ten (10) modified golf carts. FWC has delivered the ten EZGO golf carts to Indian River <br />County Shooting Range.
