Tuesday, October 13, 1992 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, October 13, <br />1992, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Carolyn R. Eggert, <br />Chairman; Margaret C. Bowman, Vice Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Don <br />C. Scurlock, Jr.; and John W. Tippin. Also present were James E. <br />Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County <br />Attorney; and Deputy Clerks Barbara Bonnah and Diane Albin. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Commissioner <br />Bowman led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Commissioner Bowman requested the addition to today's Agenda <br />as Item 13-B a discussion regarding the publication of agendas in <br />the newspaper prior to BCC meetings. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously added the <br />above item to the Agenda. <br />PROCLAMATIONS AND PRESENTATIONS <br />Presentation of Fourth Quarter Safety Award <br />Chairman Eggert read aloud the following memo honoring Jim <br />Judge for his service as Emergency Medical Services Chief and <br />presented him with the Fourth Quarter Safety Award: <br />OCT 131992 <br />aam fnE814 <br />
