Pronosed Ordinance - Request for Public Hearing <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated November 3, 1992: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Terrence P. O'Brien - Assistant County Attorney <br />DATE: October 30, 1992 <br />SUBJECT: PROPOSED ORDINANCE ENTITLED: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />ADDING A NEW CHAPTER 3071, TRAFFIC; <br />PROVIDING FOR THE REGULATION OF HANDICAPPED, <br />FIRE LANE PARKING AND OTHER RELATED PARKING <br />RESTRICTIONS; PROVIDING FOR PARKING <br />ENFORCEMENT SPECIALISTS AND PROVIDING FOR THE <br />EDITORIAL TRANSFER OF SECTIONS 306.06, 306' 07 <br />AND 306.07.1 TO CHAPTER 307 OF THE CODE OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY. <br />A public hearing date of December 81, 1.992 is suggested for the subject <br />ordinance. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman the Board unanimously scheduled <br />a public hearing on December 8, 1992 to consider a <br />proposed ordinance entitled: An Ordinance of the <br />Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida Adding a New Chapter 307, Traffic; <br />Providing for the Regulation of Handicapped, Fire <br />Lane Parking, and Other Related Parking <br />Restrictions; Providing for Parking Enforcement <br />Specialists and Providing for the Editorial Transfer <br />of Sections 306.06, 306.07 and 306.07.1 to Chapter <br />307 of the Code of Indian River County, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />12 <br />
