ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board by a vote of 4-1, <br />Commissioner Macht dissenting, adopted Resolution <br />92-210, approving the transmittal of the proposed <br />lan�d.- use amendment to the DCA for their review. <br />Commissioner Tippin noted that we had very little public input P' <br />on this, and Commissioner Macht suggested that we review the Comp <br />Plan. <br />Director Keating explained that the Comp Plan is revisited <br />every 5 years, the next time being in 1995. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-210 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE TRANSMITTAL OF A PROPOSED <br />AMENDMENT TO THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO THE <br />STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS FOR THEIR <br />REVIEW. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners adopted the Indian <br />River County Comprehensive Plan on February 13,11990, and <br />WHEREAS, the county received comprehensive plan amendment <br />applications during its July 1992 amendment submittal window, and <br />WHEREAS, the Local* Planning Agency* held a public hearing on <br />all comprehensive plan amendment requests on October 22, 1992 after <br />due public notice, and <br />WHEREAS, the Local Planning Agency recommended that the Board <br />of County Commissioners deny transmittal of the comprehensive plan <br />amendment listed below; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County held a Transmittal Public Hearing on November 17, 1992, <br />after advertising pursuant to F.S. 163.3184(15)(b)(1), and <br />Nov 171992 <br />BOOK <br />v� rh�lJf <br />
