The leagues will <br />have • fund raisers to develop aiid mai.ntairi the field. <br />Pat Callahan, City of Vero Reach, and Vero Reach Recreation <br />Committee have all approvefl t'he .1equest c'oIlt.iI':geiit. upon <br />County approval. <br />The Parks and Rec:reatioit recomn,ended <br />that the County Commission grant the request. <br />2) Request to Fxteiid After School_ Program <br />Godfrey Gipson, Vero Reach Elementary School Principal, and <br />Susan Ear.lywine, PTA President, requested aii after school <br />program. he started at Vero Reach Elementary School.. Pat <br />Callahan said there are only 3 schools in the County that do <br />iiot have an after school piogritm. Rogers requested that several recreational facilities be <br />constructed or, County property between Donald MacDonald and <br />Dale tviriibrow Parks. % She was advised to make her request <br />when budgets are considered next year. <br />4) Offer to Lease'Prj)aert- in_ Archie Carr -Sea Turtle Refuge <br />Because an endangered of beach mice have been <br />discovered on the Treasure Shares Park beach parcel., further <br />construction of the park has been halted.
