CHASTA Ci <br />AND STAFFED MANAGER OF ASSES PROJECTS <br />BY: DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: COURTSIDE SUBDIVISION - 38TH SQUARE, S.W. <br />WATER SERVICE PROJECT - RESOLUTION IV <br />FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT NO. UW -92 -02 -DS <br />BACKGROUND <br />On July 7, 1992, the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners <br />approved Resolution III, No. 92-95, for the preliminary assessment <br />roll on the above -referenced project. The construction of the project <br />has been completed. Customer connections have begun and we request <br />the Board of County Commissioners' approval of the final assessment <br />roll (see attached minutes and Resolution III). <br />ANALYSIS <br />The preliminary assessment was for a total estimated cost to be <br />assessed of $64,365.00, which equated to $0.10326421778 per square <br />foot of property owned. The final assessment (see attached Resolution <br />IV and the accompanying assessment roll) is in the amount of <br />$56,825.25, which equates to a cost of $0.091168 per square foot of <br />property. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the <br />Board of County Commissioners approve the adoption of Resolution IV. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 93-18, certifying "as -built" costs for <br />installation of a waterline extension to Courtside <br />Subdivision, and other construction necessitated by <br />such project, as recommended by staff. <br />RESOLUTION 93-18, WITH ASSESSMENT ROLL ATTACHED <br />IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />50 <br />
