Change Order and Final Pay Request for Sandridge Golf Club Well <br />Contract <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated January 11, 1993: <br />DATE: JANUARY 11, 1993 <br />TO: MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />THRU: JAMES E. CHANDLER, COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR <br />SUBJECT: FINAL PAY REQUEST AND FIN CHANGE ORDER FOR SANDRIDGE <br />GOLF CLUB WELL NT T� <br />FROM: BOB KOMARINET TOR OF GOLF <br />BACKGROUND <br />On May 12, 1992, the Indian River County Board of County <br />Commissioners awarded the aforementioned project to Drilling <br />Services, Inc. in the amount of $22,998.00. We have now <br />completed this project and are ready to make final payment to the <br />contractor. <br />ANALYSIS <br />The original contract amount for the project was $22,998.00. The <br />proposed change order (see attached) decreases the contract <br />amount by $'862.03 and was necessitated to facilitate proper <br />Installation of the well. By approval of this change order, the <br />contract amount is approximately 3.3% under the original awarded <br />cost. The final contract cost is $22,133.97 <br />RECOMMENDATION :. <br />The staff of the Department of- Sandridge Golf Club recommends <br />that the Board of County Commissioners approve the attached <br />Change Order No. 1 and final pay request to Drilling Services, <br />Inc. in the amount of $ 5,932.73. - <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously approved <br />Change Order No. 1 and final payment to Driveways, <br />Inc. in the amount of $5,932.73, as recommended by <br />staff. <br />COPY OF CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 <br />AND FINAL PAYMENT REQUEST ARE ON FILE <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />10 <br />
