ANALYSIS <br />Design of the water distribution system is complete. An <br />informational meeting was held with the property owners on January <br />12, 1993. The project will serve 50 platted lots. Approval of the <br />attached Resolution III will confirm and approve the preliminary <br />assessment. <br />The attached map displays the area to benefit from the assessment <br />project. The total estimated cost to be assessed is $111,699.92. <br />The projected cost per square foot is $0.084649. This project is to <br />be paid through the assessment of property owners along the proposed <br />water line route. In the interim, financing will be through the use <br />of impact fee funds. <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the" <br />Board of County Commissioners approve Resolution III, which affirms <br />the preliminary assessment on the subject project. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone <br />wished to be heard in this matter. There being none, he closed the <br />public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 93-21, confirming the special assessments <br />in connection with a water main extension to Shady <br />Oaks Subdivision, east of 43rd Avenue and south of <br />Oslo Road, and providing for special assessment <br />liens to be made of record, as recommended by staff. <br />RECORD VERIFIEd <br />JEFFREY K.
