ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously accepted <br />the Quitclaim Deed conveying the FDOT drainage <br />right-of-way that lies within the right-of-way of <br />Indian River Boulevard to Indian River County, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />QUITCLAIM DEED <br />IS RECORDED IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />GRAND HARBOR GOLF CART UNDERPASS/TUNNEL <br />The Board reviewed memo from Capital Projects Manager Terry <br />Thompson dated February 5, 1993: <br />TO: James E. Chandler, <br />County Administrator <br />THROUGH: James W. Davis, P.E. <br />Public Works Directo <br />FROM: Terry B. Thompson, P.E.C'� <br />Capital Projects Manager <br />SUBJECT: Grand Harbor Golf Cart Underpass/Tunnel <br />DATE: February 5, 1993 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Attached is an Agreement for construction of a golf course <br />tunnel beneath Indian River Boulevard, Phase IV, that has <br />been executed by GHA Grand Harbor, LTD. The agreement <br />provides for the tunnel to be included in the Boulevard <br />construction. All expenses for construction and maintenance <br />of the tunnel are to be borne by Grand Harbor. The. -license <br />for use of County right-of-way for the tunnel is attached to <br />the Agreement as Exhibit "B". <br />The construction of Indian River Boulevard, Phase IV from <br />37th Street to 53rd Street was advertised for bid on January <br />20, 1993. The bid opening is scheduled for March 10, 1993. <br />REC014K ±[rIDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends that the Chairman be authorized to execute <br />the attached Agreement and License. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously approved <br />the agreement for construction of a golf cart <br />tunnel/underpass beneath Indian River Boulevard, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />SAID AGREEMENT, WITH COPY OF PLANS ATTACHED <br />IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />F*7 <br />FEB 16 1993 80VK 5 <br />48f1KH � ' <br />
