Property owners have been <br />notified of the public hearing by certified mail. Resolution I <br />(93-25) was published in the Vero Beach PRESS JOURNAL on February 8, <br />1993. (See attached agenda item and minutes of the above meeting.) <br />ANALYSIS <br />Design of the water distribution system is complete. An <br />informational meeting was held with the property owners on February <br />9, 1993. The project will serve 12 platted lots. Approval of the <br />attached Resolution III will confirm and approve the preliminary <br />assessment. <br />The attached map displays the area to benefit from the assessment <br />project. The total estimated cost to be assessed is $29,350.38. <br />The projected cost per square foot is $0.053938. This project is to <br />be paid through the assessment of property owners along the proposed <br />water line route. In the interim, financing will be through the use <br />of impact fee funds. <br />RECOIDEMATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the <br />Board of County Commissioners approve Resolution III, which affirms <br />the preliminary assessment on the subject project. <br />Chairman Bird opened the Public Hearing and asked if anyone <br />wished to be heard in this matter. There being none, he closed the <br />Public Hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 93-39, confirming the special assessments <br />in connection with a water main extension to <br />Pinewood Lane (31st Avenue, SW, south off First <br />Street, SW), and providing for special assessment <br />liens to be made of record. <br />ASSESSMENT ROLL IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />36 <br />
