Finney, SRA �• <br />County Right of Way Agent <br />SUBJECT: Additional Right -of -Way Purchase, 26th Street (between Village Green & 66th <br />Avenue) <br />DATE: February 23, 1993 <br />Indian River County needs an additional 30 feet of right-of-way for the petition paving project on <br />26th Street. The Board of County Commissioners previously approved the purchase of the right-of- <br />way along this corridor on January 21, 1992. <br />The property owner, Vero Beach Jaycees, Inc. signed a sale/purchase contract at the land's appraised <br />value of $3,507.00 for the .23 acre right-of-way. There are no special conditions to the contract or <br />attorneys' fees. This purchase price equates to $35 per square foot. <br />16 <br />
