Reports <br />Received and placed on file in the office of the Clerk to the <br />Board: <br />Delta Farms Water Control District, Minutes of the Board of <br />Supervisors, fiscal year ended September 30, 1992. <br />B. Proclamation Designating March 10 1993 as RSVP Day in Indian <br />River County Florida <br />PROCLAMATION <br />DESIGNATING MARCH 10, 1993 ' <br />AS RRVP DAY IN <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />WHEREAS, in 1992, 600 senior volunteers, members of The <br />Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Indian River County <br />donated a total of 107,500 hours of volunteer service to Indian <br />River County; and <br />WHEREAS, to honor these unselfish senior citizens, the <br />Retired Senior Volunteer Program of Indian River County will hold <br />its eighth annual Recognition Luncheon on Wednesday, March 10, <br />1993 at the Polish American Club; and <br />WHEREAS, The RSVP is sponsored by the Indian River County <br />Council on Aging and ACTION, the federal volunteer agency; and <br />WHEREAS, RSVP is founded on dedication and commitment of <br />senior citizens, age 60 or more, who volunteer their time, <br />talents and experiences of a lifetime to the community; and <br />SHE -REAS, Indian River County benefits greatly by the <br />thousands of volunteer hours that senior citizens donate each <br />year; and <br />2 <br />
