Tuesday, March 16, 1993 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, March 16, 1993, <br />at 9:00 A. M. Present were Richard N. Bird, Chairman; John W. <br />Tippin, Vice Chairman; Fran B. Adams; Carolyn K. Eggert; and <br />Kenneth R. Macht. Also present were James E. Chandler, County <br />Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Diane <br />Albin, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Rev. Julius Rice of The Community Church -United Church of <br />Christ gave the invocation, and Chairman Bird led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />The Chairman requested the addition of the following: <br />Item 7.I. - Request from Kenneth R. Macht for out -of - <br />county travel <br />Item 7.J. - Proclamation for Special Olympics <br />Item 11.E.3. - Resolution for Bond Financing Phase II <br />Utility <br />Item 11.E.4. - Request from Circuit Court for purchase of a <br />copy machine <br />Item 13.A.2. - Letter from Santa Rosa County regarding <br />current legislation in Tallahassee <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously added the <br />above items to the Agenda. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions or corrections <br />to the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 9, 1993.
