TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />DATE: March 22, 1993 <br />SUBJECT: MISCELIANEOUS BUDGET AMENDMENT 015 <br />CONSENT AGENDA - REVISION <br />FROM: Joseph A. Baird <br />OMB Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The attached budget amendment is to appropriate funding for the following: <br />1. Board of County Commissioners approved to fund a tax deed <br />application fee for 13 tax certificates held by Indian River County at <br />$75.00 each for a total of $975.00 at their March 9, 1993 meeting. <br />2. Board of County Commissioners approved to fund the reprinting of <br />"Notice of Parking Violation" books for the Sheriff Department. <br />3. This entry appropriates the funding for the Supervisor of Elections <br />employees salary increase of 2% in the amount of $4,018.00. <br />4. The attached entry is to appropriate the funding for refinancing of <br />Capital Improvement Revenue bonds. <br />5. On March 9, 1993, the Board of County Commissioners approved <br />the withdrawal of $205,302 from the Special Law Enforcement Fund, <br />to help in the funding of special programs and combating of street <br />crime. <br />6. This entry is to set up a separate budget for the Radiological <br />Emergency Preparedness Agreement (E P & L,.Grant) which has <br />been incorporated in the Emergency Services Department budget. <br />F. P. & L, and our Finance Department has requested a separate <br />department be set up to better track the grant. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the attached budget <br />amendment number 015. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously approved <br />Budget Amendment 015: <br />7 <br />BOOK -89 f'.'E.A3 <br />
