Vitunac, County Attorney <br />DATE: March 9, 1993 <br />RE: QUITCLAIM OF WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT SITE TO <br />NELSON HYATT AT PARR PLACE MOBILE HOME PARR <br />When the Department of Utility Services took over the Park Place water <br />and sewer franchise by purchase in July, 1989, the County agreed to <br />return the real property used in the utility operation when the County <br />no longer used it or at the end of ten years, whichever came first. <br />The County has removed the old wastewater treatment plant from service <br />and has connected the park to the County wastewater system. The <br />Department longer is no longer using the wastewater plant site and has <br />no objection to its return to Nelson Hyatt, the owner of Park Place <br />Mobile Home Park. <br />The water plant site is still in use and title cannot be returned yet. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the Chairman to execute the attached <br />County Deed to the wastewater treatment plant site. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously approved <br />and authorized the Chairman to execute the Quitclaim <br />Deed for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Site at Park <br />Place Mobile Home Park to Nelson Hyatt, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />SAID DEED <br />IS RECORDED IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />P.
