BOOK fKGE6 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 93-13 <br />SECTION VII. ADOPTION OF THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY AFFORDABLE HOUSING <br />INCENTIVE PLAN <br />A. Within ninety (90) days after the date of the receipt of <br />the affordable housing incentive recommendations from the Indian <br />River County Affordable Housing Advisory Committee, the Board of <br />County Commissioners shall adopt the Indian River County Affordable <br />Housing Incentive Plan. The Indian River County Affordable Housing <br />Incentive Plan shall consist of the adoption of specific <br />initiatives to encourage or fAcilitate affordable housing and a <br />schedule for implementation and, at a minimum, must include: <br />(1) A schedule for implementation of expedited permit <br />processing for affordable housing projects; and <br />(2) An ongoing process for review of local policies, <br />ordinances, regulations, and comprehensive plan <br />provisions that significantly impact the cost of <br />housing. <br />B. Upon adoption of the Indian River County Affordable <br />Housing Incentive Plan, the Board of County Commissioners shall so <br />notify the Florida Housing Finance Agency by certified mail. The <br />notice shall include a copy of the approved Indian River County <br />Affordable Housing Incentive Plan. <br />SECTION VIII. SEVERABILITY <br />If any phrase or portion of this Ordinance, or the particular <br />application thereof, shall be held invalid or unconstitutional by <br />any court, administrative agency or other body with appropriate <br />jurisdiction, the remaining section, subsection, sentences, <br />clauses, or phases and their application shall not be affected <br />thereby. <br />SECTION IX. EFFECTIVE DATE <br />This Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after <br />the date of formal adoption. +. <br />68 <br />
