However, if and when the <br />funding stops, the position would be eliminated. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, to adopt Resolution 93-90, <br />authorizing the Community Development Director to <br />apply for and accept an Economic Development <br />Administration (EDA) Section 302(a) planning <br />assistance grant, as recommended by staff. <br />Under discussion, Commissioner Tippin announced that he had a <br />problem with having to hire new staff in order to take advantage of <br />this grant money because this is taxpayers' money.
