Tuesday, May 18, 1993 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, May 18, 1993, at <br />9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Richard N. Bird, Chairman; John W. <br />Tippin, Vice Chairman; Fran B. Adams; Carolyn K. Eggert; and <br />Kenneth R. Macht. Also present were Randy Dowling, Assistant to <br />County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and <br />Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and County Attorney <br />Charles Vitunac led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Attorney Vitunac requested the deletion of Item 12 - Approval <br />to Execute Agreement Between Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, <br />County and the Health Department - because the FDIC has decided to <br />take it to Chicago before they sign it. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously deleted <br />the above item from today's Agenda. <br />PROFESSIONAL SAFETY CERTIFICATE PRESENTATION BY TREASURE COAST <br />SAFETY COUNCIL <br />Mark Hartman, director of Florida Treasure Coast Safety <br />Council, Inc. made the following presentation honoring Steve Ryan <br />of the County's Road and Bridge Department: <br />MAY 181993 boa 89 FAGS 541 <br />� J <br />
