Resolutions - Cancellation of Outstanding Taxes on Properties <br />Purchased for County Use <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 5/10/93: <br />TO: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OA , P. <br />FROM: Lea R. Keller, CLA, County Attorney's Office <br />DATE: May 10, 1993 <br />RE: CANCELLATION OF OUTSTANDING TAXES <br />PROPERTIES PURCHASED FOR COUNTY USE <br />The County recently acquired four rights-of-way, and, pursuant to <br />Section 196.28, Florida Statutes, the Board of County Commissioners is <br />allowed to cancel and discharge any taxes' owed on the portion of the <br />property acquired for public purposes.
