RESOLUTION NO. 93-100 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />SETTING ASIDE THE DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY TO THE <br />CITY OF VERO BEACH TO SPONSOR THE COUNTY BEACH <br />NOURISHMENT PROJECT. <br />r <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County with the concurrence of the City of Vero <br />Beach, by Resolution No. 87-133, delegated to the City local sponsorship of <br />the Vero Beach Nourishment Project; and <br />WHEREAS, the County believes that, at this point in time, beach <br />nourishment and preservation projects should be handled at the County level; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the first step to County sponsorship is to set aside Resolution <br />No. 87-133, thus returning to the County its full statutory authority to <br />proceed with beach nourishment and preservation; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Resolution No. 87-133 is <br />hereby set aside and the sponsorship of beach nourishment and preservation <br />is, therefore, returned to the County pursuant to Chapter 161, Florida <br />Statutes. <br />The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Eggert , and <br />the motion was seconded by Commissioner Tien in , and, upon being put to a <br />vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Richard N.
