He urged the County to try to enf orce <br />collection of the tourist tax. <br />Commissioner Macht stressed that Mr. Zimmermann is planning to <br />increase enforcement. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously (4-0, <br />Chairman Bird being absent). <br />Director Baird estimated that the 3rd cent will generate <br />between $175,000 and $180,000 a year.
