escrow the cost of construction for the 51 wide public sidewalk. <br />The applicant has chosen to escrow the cost of sidewalk ($3,420) <br />because 27th Avenue is under FDOT jurisdiction, and the FDOT is <br />currently formulating plans for 27th Avenue. The escrow option <br />satisfies the land development regulations for the sidewalk <br />requirement. <br />ANALYSIS: <br />The County Attorney has reviewed and approved the form of letter of <br />credit and the contract for required improvements. The public <br />works department has reviewed the amount of the letter of credit <br />and found it sufficient to cover the cost of the required <br />improvements. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Based on the analysis performed, planning staff recommends that the <br />Board of County Commissioners authorize the chairman to sign the <br />attached contract for construction. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously (4-0, <br />Commissioner Tippin being absent) approved the <br />Contract for Construction of Required Sidewalk <br />Improvements from the First Church of the Nazarene, <br />as recommended by staff. <br />CONTRACT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />C.
