Vitunac, County Attorney <br />DATE: June 28, 1993 <br />RE: GRAM HARBOR - GROUNDWATER STORAGE TANK <br />ASSIGN14M OF WARRANTY TO COUNTY <br />The Development Order for Grand Harbor required that certain utility <br />improvements be constructed. The subcontractor has issued a maintenance <br />bond in favor of the contractor who is now assigning the maintenance <br />bond to the County. The attached agreement is this Assignment and <br />requires the signature of the Chairman to accept it on behalf of the <br />Board. <br />If for some reason the Assignment fails and there is warranty work to be <br />performed, the contractor has agreed to enforce the maintenance bond <br />according to its terms. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: The Board authorize the Chairman to execute the <br />attached Assignment. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously accepted <br />the assignment of rights under maintenance bond, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />ASSIGNMENT OF RIGHTS UNDER MAINTENANCE BOND <br />IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />H.
