UW -91 -14 -DS <br />CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 AND FINAL PAY REQUEST <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On October 27, 1992, the Indian River County Board of County <br />Commissioners approved the Water Expansion Plan, Phase II, in the <br />amount of $1,893,429.35. On February 23, 1993, the Board of County <br />Commissioners awarded Contract "E" in the amount of $131,946.36. <br />Construction has been completed, and the contractor, Treasure Coast <br />Contracting, Inc., has made application for final payment. <br />The pay request includes a change order reducing the contract amount <br />by $2,179-89. This was the result of field adjustments. <br />ANALYSIS: <br />All Indian River County requirements have been met and final <br />certification has been submitted to the Department of Environmental <br />Regulation for clearance. The original contract price was <br />$131,946.36; the adjusted contract price is $129,766.47. The <br />contractor has been paid $116,115.64; the final payment due is <br />$13,650.83. <br />RECD-M-ND-M—ATION: <br />The Department of Utility Services recommends approval of Change <br />Order No. 1 and approval of the final pay request of $13,650.83. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously approved <br />Treasure Coast Contracting, Inc., Change Order No. 1 <br />and Final Pay Request in the amount of $13,650.83, <br />as recommended by staff. <br />CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IS ON FILE <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />4'6 <br />I � 1993 <br />BOOK 8 9 1066 <br />
