AUG 101993 BOOK 90 F�,,E156 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Solid <br />Waste Disposal District is authorized and requested to apply for, <br />enter into contracts necessary thereto, and, utilize any grants <br />that are, or may be made, available to Indian River County for <br />recycling programs, waste oil recovery and recycling, composting, <br />`. volume reduction, waste tire management, hazardous or <br />biohazardous waste management, and public awareness and education <br />programs; and any other solid waste <br />management/processing/control/education program. <br />This Resolution supercedes and replaces Indian River <br />County Resolution 89-14, adopted January 31, 1989, and Resolution <br />89-35, adopted April 11, 1989. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />Eggert and seconded by Commissioner Tippin <br />and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Richard N. Bird Aye <br />Vice -Chairman John W. Tippin Aye <br />Commissioner Fran B. Adams Aye <br />Commissioner Carolyn K. Eggert Aye <br />Commissioner Kenneth R.
