ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously approved <br />the use of George Kmetz Appraisal Services at a not - <br />to -exceed cost of $2,500, as set out in staff's <br />recommendation. <br />I. Fairgrounds Restroom Facility - Change Order No. 2 and Final <br />Payment <br />TO: James E. Chandler, <br />-County Administrator <br />FROM: Terry B. Thompson, P.E. <br />Capital Projects Manager <br />SUBJECT: Fairgrounds Restroom Facility <br />Change Order No. 2 and Final Payment - <br />DATE: August 4, 1993 FILE: fairfin.agn <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Construction of the Fairgrounds Restroom Facility is now complete. <br />Attached is Change Order No. 2 which reduces the contract amount by <br />$160 because the length of the concrete sidewalk was adjusted in <br />the field during construction. <br />John Vetter and Sons, Inc. is requesting final payment including <br />retainage in the amount of $23,902.23. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends that the Board authorize Change Order No. 2 for <br />the decreased amount of $160 which results in a revised contract <br />amount of $110,505.48. <br />Staff also recommends that final payment includinthe 10% <br />retainage be released.
