1. Residential projects involving 4 or fewer dwelling units; and <br />2. Non-residential projects involving less than 10,000 square <br />feet of new impervious surface (regardless of new building <br />area amount). <br />Note: The PSAC and the PZC recommend that the Board of County <br />Commissioners adopt these amendments. <br />SECTION 8: Voting Quorum <br />These amendments are necessary to resolve conflicts between county <br />code Chapters 102 and 103 and LDR Chapters 902, 913, and 914. The <br />proposed amendments would make'Chapter 902, 913, and 914 appeals <br />sections consistent with the voting quorum requirements in code <br />Chapters 102 and 103. <br />Note: The PSAC and the PZC recommend that the Board of County <br />Commissioners adopt these amendments. <br />SECTION 9: Appeals <br />This amendment is necessary to clarify the timeframe for filing <br />appeals of decisions regarding site plan projects. The proposed <br />amendment would make site plan project appeals timeframes <br />consistent with subdivision project appeals timeframes. <br />Note: The PSAC and the PZC recommend that the Board of County <br />Commissioners adopt these amendments. <br />SECTION 10: PD Perimeter Setback <br />This amendment has been filed by attorney Steve Henderson (see <br />attachment #1). The amendment focuses on situations where a <br />unified project has P.D. approval and site plan approval on <br />_portions of the same overall project (e.g. Sea Oaks). The proposed <br />amendment would recognize that certain PD.boundaries are "internal" <br />to the overall project: along -such boundaries the special 25' PD <br />perimeter setback would be waived. <br />Note: The PSAC and the PZC recommend that the Board of County <br />Commissioners adopt these amendments. <br />SECTION 11: Miscellaneous Amendments <br />Section 11A: This amendment would make a Chapter 912 (Single <br />Family Development) patio/screened porch setback provision <br />consistent with a Chapter 911 LDR change adopted 'Et March 1993. <br />The amendment is needed to ensure that Chapter 912- is consistent <br />z <br />with Chapter 911. <br />Section 11B: This amendment would allow more setback flexibility <br />for legal nonconforming lots of record located in the RS -1 zoning <br />district. Such a change is consistent with a previously approved <br />LDR amendment which applied to RS -3 zoned legal nonconforming lots <br />of record. <br />Section 11C: This amendment would <br />the CL, Limited Commercial zoning <br />permit use.
