Tuesday, September 7, 1993 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, September 7, <br />1993, at 9:00 a.m. Present were Richard N. Bird, Chairman; John W. <br />Tippin, Vice Chairman; Fran B. Adams; Carolyn K. Eggert; and <br />Kenneth R. Macht. Also present were James E. Chandler, County <br />Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Patricia <br />Held, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />J. R. Davis, Temple Beth Shalom, Vero Beach, gave the <br />invocation, and County Attorney Charles Vitunac led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Commissioner Eggert requested the addition of Item 13.D.2., <br />purchase of the Mann property by the Seminole Indians. <br />Commissioner Adams requested the addition of Item 13.C., <br />report on Beach Conference at Amelia Island, and later in the <br />meeting she requested the addition of Item 9.A.2., Warren Dill's <br />request to address the Board regarding CR -512 Twin Pairs Project. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously added the <br />above items to the Agenda. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions or corrections <br />to the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of August 17, 1993. There <br />were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board approved the Minutes <br />of the Regular Meeting of August 17, 1993, as <br />written. <br />SEP 7 1993 BOOK 90 I-AH"338 <br />
