OCT 12 1993 <br />BOOK 90 Fin,[ 725 <br />Commissioner Adams asked if it would be cheaper for us to buy <br />uniforms and let our employees do their own cleaning. It seems to <br />be a large expense for the number of employees that are involved. <br />General Services Director Sonny Dean responded that staff has <br />researched every possible method, including buying and leasing <br />uniforms, and this has proved to be the best procedure to provide <br />uniforms that fit well for our personnel. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously awarded <br />Bid #4002 to Rent Wear, Inc., for uniform rental <br />service, and approved an open-end contract for a 12 - <br />month period, as set out in staff's memorandum. <br />F.
