Award the bid to Southgrn Culvert as the overall <br />lowest most responsive and responsible bidder meeting <br />specifications as set forth in the Invitation to Bid. <br />2. Establish an Open End Contract with Southern Culvert. <br />Last year's expenditures totaled $43,300.00 <br />3. Authorize the Purchasing Manager to renew this contract <br />subject to satisfactory performance, zero cost increase, <br />vendor acceptance, and the determination that renewal is <br />in the best interest of the County. <br />Commissioner Adams noted that the bids were pretty close in <br />total and the difference seems to be in the price of the larger - <br />sized culverts. She wondered if we could split the bid and buy the <br />cheaper ones from each supplier. <br />10 <br />
